You can have an active retirement life, especially if you are in good health. Do not let lack of money or friends to prevent you from having a good time in retirement. Even if you have health problems, you can still have a fairly active retirement life.
You are aware of the issues retirees face; so, you could be a great help to other retirees. Just think of the impact you could make on someone’s life by teaching him or her to use email so that they could stay in touch with their children and grandchildren. Some retirees have computers but do not have anybody to support them to get latest information; or key resources to help retirees to connect with distant family members.
What if you do not know how to use a computer? You can learn in one day how to compose and send email and then you can become an expert for your peers. Either way, it is a great way to have an active retirement life. You may learn a new skill yourself, or at the very least, teach a new skill to someone else.
